Emily Beaver, 21

Hi! My name is Emily Beaver. I am a student at the University of Michigan, majoring in Communications and minoring in Writing and Digital Studies. I spend a majority of my time with Michigan Athletics, something I have grown to love more than I ever expected. I am no way an athlete, but there is something about working in a community of people who all root for the same team, whether they win or loose, that makes me feel confident in my school and in my life. I also work at Towsley Children's House, a pre-school in Ann Arbor, and love every second of it. It really allows me to get out of the school environment for a little while and just enjoy living. My life at home revolves around the beach, something that I hold near and dear to my heart. This website is dedicated to my growth as a human being, and the impact the beach has had on my life.
